Tracy Chang, Co-Founder
Tracy is the chef and owner of PAGU, a Spanish Japanese tapas restaurant in Cambridge, MA. She is the co-founder of Off Their Plate and Project Restore Us, two mutual aid initiatives she launched at PAGU during covid to empower restaurants and essential workers to make meals for frontline healthcare workers and then pivoting to provide meals and culturally appropriate groceries for essential worker families. These volunteer-led, grassroots initiatives combined have in two years raised over $12M in funding in 11 cities nationwide, and provided more than one million hot meals, and 10,000 lbs of groceries to food-insecure families. Chang is a 2020 James Beard Foundation Best Chef northeast semi-finalist and PAGU is a 2023 Outstanding Restaurant semi-finalist.
Jonny Zackman, Co-Founder
Through pairing his experience at PAGU and passion for supporting his community, he co-founded Roundtable to highlight key social issues within Cambridge and beyond. As a part of the initiative, Jonny created the Roundtable Culinary Pilot Program, which partners with the Moses Youth Center to educate our youth on cooking skills and grocery budgeting, gaining exposure to job opportunities in the food industry, and empowering youth to express their culture through food.
Since 2020, Jonny’s involvement with PAGU has ranged from launching neighborhood markets and re-opening indoor dining to brand strategy and project management. He is a full-time Product Manager at PlatformQ Health, a digital health company focused on empowering patients and providers to further clinical outcomes through education.
In his free time, you will find him cycling, making paella, or volunteering with Experience Camps.
